Fall Family and Caregiver Conference 2017
Thank you to all of the families, caregivers, presenters and volunteers who joined us at OPWSA's Fall Family and Caregiver Conference on Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th in Burlington.
It was an amazing weekend of learning, sharing and making connections. The presentations provided great insight on a wide range of topics, and the parent led discussions on the Sunday were incredibly powerful. There was a real community atmosphere.
​The Kids Program was full of activity and fun! On the Saturday, the kids designed their own picture frames and hats, and took part in activities run by Special Olympics Ontario. The Kids Program also had a dance instructor from Spirit in Motion in Waterdown to lead the kids and volunteers in a dance class which led to a performance for the entire conference.
