OPWSA would like to encourage individuals with PWS and their families and friends to take part in our 1K A Day Challenge throughout February.

Cheers to Charity

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets for OPWSA's 2025 Cheers to Charity raffle draw! With your help, we were able to raise over $10,000 towards supporting OPWSA's key programs: PWS Week at Shadow Lake Camp, First Trike Program, annual conference, free fridge locks for Ontario members, and other community gatherings.

2025 PWS National Conference

OPWSA and FPWR Canada partnered to host the 2025 PWS National Conference on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at The Kingbridge Centre in King City.

 

The conference was comprised of three distinct programs:

  • Family Conference for parents and guardians

  • Friends and Fun Club for individuals with PWS of all ages and their siblings

  • Professional Providers Day for agency staff, educators and other professionals that support individuals with PWS

PWS Week at Shadow Lake

We had another amazing PWS Week at Shadow Lake Centre! This year's PWS Week took place from Sunday, May 25th to Friday, May 30th, 2025. We had a wonderful week of fun with our friends again, and we're already looking forward to next year!
