Celebrate 10 years of the OPWSA Wines Among the Vines fundraising event on Saturday, November 7th. ​Join us as we celebrate a decade of bringing together supporters, families, and friends in support of individuals living with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Expect an evening of great wine, delicious food, live entertainment, and wonderful company.

It's that time of year again to raise a glass and your wallets to OPWSA’s Cheers to Charity raffle draw! 

Raffle proceeds go towards supporting OPWSA’s key programs: PWS Week at Shadow Lake Camp, First Trike Program, Fall Conference, free fridge locks for Ontario members, and family gatherings.

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, shared the sweepstakes, and helped make this fundraiser a success. Together, we raised an incredible $5,540 in support of the Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) community!

OPWSA and FPWR Canada partnered to host the 2026 PWS National Conference on September 18-19, 2026 at The Kingbridge Centre in King City. 

The conference was comprised of three distinct programs:

• Professional Providers Day for agency staff, educators and other professionals that support individuals with PWS

• Family Conference for parents and guardians

• Friends and Fun Club for individuals with PWS of all ages and their siblings

We had another amazing PWS Week at Shadow Lake Centre! This year's PWS Week took place from Sunday, June 14th to Friday, June 19th, 2025. Thank you to all of our campers, dedicated volunteers, Rob Pividor, Linda Netherton, Jan Beddoe, Marnie O'Brien, Paige Babb, and, last but certainly not least, the incredible Shadow Lake Centre staff for making another PWS Week at Shadow Lake Centre such a memorable success!

We're already looking forward to next year!
