Join us for OPWSA's Fall Family and Caregiver Conference taking place in Blue Mountain on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.

The conference will feature presentations from experts in the field on such topics as behaviour, nutrition, and research, while also providing ample time for parents and caregivers to connect. A detailed agenda will be shared soon!

It's sure to be great day of learning, information sharing, networking, peer support, and fun including wonderful programming for individuals with PWS of all ages and their siblings.

Parking is free at the Blue Mountain Inn Conference Centre for our attendees and anyone staying overnight at the Inn.

***Please note that for kids under the age of 6, it is expected that families provide their own volunteer (parent, grandparent, friend, etc.) to look after their child in the Fun Friends Program.

****Did you know that SSAH or Passport funding can be used to cover the cost of admission for individuals with PWS into the Fun Friends Program since it is considered respite? We can provide you with a receipt so that you can claim the expense.

Blue Mountain Inn Conference Centre - 110 Jozo Weider Blvd., Blue Mountain, ON

We have reserved a block of rooms for both Friday and Saturday night at the Blue Mountain Inn Conference Centre where the conference will be taking place. Reservations can be made online at https://bmrbooking.bluemountain.ca or by calling 1-833-583-2583. If booking online, click on "I have a group/promo code", and input group name: PWS Conference Oct2024 and/or use the group reservation number GB00007319 when making the reservation to obtain the group rate. If booking by phone, remember to provide them with the group name as well to receive the group rate. Rooms include mini-fridges, and there is free parking at the Blue Mountain Inn Conference Centre. Please note in order to reserve a room from our block, you will need to reserve your room before Wednesday, October 2nd, 2024 at 5:00pm ET. There are a limited number of rooms in our block for each night, so don't delay in making your reservation.
