In Celebration of Bunny!
In celebration of Bernard (Bunny) Schnapp's 100th birthday, Bunny has requested that in lieu of gifts, donations may be made to The Ontario Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (OPWSA) for his "Special Little Princess" Darwin, whom he shares a very special bond with - if you've ever seen them laugh together you'll know what we're talking about!
In 2013 Darwin was born with a rare and complex genetic disorder known as Prader-Willi Syndrome that affects many facets of her life on a daily basis and will continue to do so as she grows. OPWSA was a first-contact point for her family providing much needed guidance, support and intervention in the troubling and scary times after her diagnosis.
OPWSA is a non-profit charity founded by parents who wanted to support other families dealing with PWS. From family gatherings to build community and relationships, first-trike programs, counselling, over-night camps, and annual conferences, to working with healthcare and residential facilities, OPWSA is an invaluable resource and is entirely supported by donations like yours.
